Information Advice
from someone that has been there... I
was being cheated on. I knew that I was. But I wanted to believe her when she
told me she was just talking to friends. I would still toss and turn at night
wondering who she was talking to. Then...she was gone. Don't wait!! Do something
now to save your relationship. It is better to know the truth now, than to delay
until it is too late. Please read the disclaimer and
do not break any local or federal laws. BE AWARE: When I finally did read
the emails and the chats, it was the most painful thing I have ever been through.
Prepare yourself for the worst and hope for the best! My heart goes out to anyone
that is going through this soul-wrenching process. Good luck, peace and happiness
to you all. ---John Back

to Start Looking
Go
to the Documents Folder and look at the most recent
files they have opened. Many times you can find a lot of information about what
they have been doing by checking there.
The
Documents Folder When
you open most files in Windows, it records this information in your document history
(Go to Start/Documents). Keep in mind, that if you are searching for suspicious
files on your PC, and you open them... the file name may appear in the Documents
Folder.

Internet Folder Opening
the Temporary Internet Folder Pages
and images you view on the internet are saved in a folder on your hard drive for
quicker loading next time you visit the site. Cookies are also stored in this
folder. Once you have the Temporary Internet Folder open, go to "View"
and select "Details". This will show you the web address that the temporary
files were received from. Under the menu item, "View/Arrange Icons"
you can sort the files in different ways. Q.)

How do I open the Temporary Internet Folder in AOL? A.)
Go to Settings/Preferences. Under Organization, select Internet Properties (WWW).
Under Temporary Internet Files, click on Settings. In the Settings window, click
on View Files. You
can open most files by double clicking on the icon. Files
with a name similar to "anyname@something.com" are called cookies.
If you double click on these files, they will probably open in Notepad and you
will see a lot of gibberish and some readable text. There is usually not much
usable information in a cookie, you can usually get more info from the file name
and/or web site name. Please note that finding a cookie, for example, from a porn
site, does not necessarily mean that someone went to that porn site. They could
have just got one of those annoying pop-ups. However, if you see more than a few
cookies from the same web site in the temporary internet folder, than it is much
more likely that someone went to that web site on your PC. Back

for Files Using
the Find Files or Folders Window (Windows 9X) Go
to the Start/Find/Files or Folders menu. Under
the Name and Location tab leave the "Name" and the "Containing
text" fields blank. Set the "Look in" field to "Local Hard
Drives" or "C:". The "Include Subfolders" box should
be checked. Click
the Date tab. Set the "Find All Files" field to "Last Accessed".
Then set the how far back you want to check for files accessed. Click the Find
now button. A list of files will appear. Double click the mouse on any file that
looks suspicious. If the file does not open or you get a message box that asks
you which program to use to open the file, then just close it and try another
file or try to open it with notepad. Try this technique again with the "Find
All Files field set to "Modified". Back

for Pictures To
find pictures of their chat room lovers (and any other picture they have been
viewing), go to the Start/Find/Files or Folders menu. Under the Name and Location

or "tif" or "bmp" in the "Named" field. Set the
"Look in" field to "Local Hard Drives" or "C: drive".
Click on the Find Now button. Then double click on any files to open. Back

Write All Stored Passwords (WASP) - WASP will display all passwords of the currently
logged on user that are stored in the Microsoft PWL file. It allows the supervision
/ convenient deletion of this file to improve the security / privacy of your PC.
It is also very useful for educational purposes about computer security. In the
documentation you also find helpful facts about the Microsoft PWL file in general.
This SOFTWARE is copyrighted FREEWARE. Please feel free to use it, copy it, upload
it to software archives or put it on CD-ROMs but do not change the files included
in the package and only distribute the package as a whole, not only the single
executable. For details please see the included "license.txt" file.
This software is designed for Win 95 / 98 only.

Password Recovery - Windows 9x and NT systems allow a convenient storage of frequently
used passwords, such as the password of your dial-in ISP or FTP connection. However,
since you no longer enter the saved password manually, you tend to forget them.
What are you to do when you need to know one of the saved passwords ? The password
is staring right at you, but is hiding behind a row of "*****" asterisks.
This nifty utility allows you to reclaim your password: Activate the utility,
drag the "key" mouse cursor on the password field and your password
is revealed instantly directly in the password field(s). Since 007 Password recovery
removes the asterisks directly in the password field is also a great help to make
sure you type a (complicated) password correctly. Limitations: This utility works
well with most password screens you will encounter on a MS Windows system, such
as the password fields on the ISP dial-up dialog, within CuteFTP or Outlook Express.
However, it does not work with applications that do not actually store the password
"behind" the asterisks e. g. the Windows NT User Manager. The software
works on Win 95, 98 and Windows NT (not Windows 2000). Download

| Monitoring
Chat Sessions
Monitoring
their chat conversations can be accomplished most efficiently by using the Keycatcher device or the
KeyLog Pro PC monitoring software. You can record everything
they type and play it back later. The software records what people are typing. The KeyLog Pro software and Keykatcher are virtually undetectable by most
people.

You
may also get small pieces of the chat by using the Find Files or Folders method
and looking for recently accessed files (See above...Searching
for Files). Back
