Hi guys - i am new to this site and thanks god i can talk to someone!
I have a husband who has been cheating on and off for the past 17 years (i am 33 - kinda pretty and good figure, nice person too!) and i keep forgiving him! he is very secretive of his belongings, his phone etc, but he says that he doesnt want a snooping wife, so after the last time i stopped looking, though i have known he was seeing someone in another county. No proof of an affair but he tells me they are good friends (enough for him to take her to Germany on a business trip without telling me!) but i now have evidence that i cant explain and dont know the way forward. We had a trade show in Dublin, we he received flowers wishing him well (him, not us, though i am an equal inthe business) from 'Frosty & Chilly'. He siad he didnt know who they were from so i left it at that. Anyway we got a parcel to teh business yesterday so i opened it, and it was a teddy bear & chocs, 'to eddie & Chilly, thinking of your from Barbara' the senders address being a county that he has been working in alot recently! ok so i hide the message and the gift for now...... Anyway as i was tidying up i found a bar receipt for two people in a hotel in the county where this other girl lives (the one he took to germany) for a night when he had told me he was somewhere totally different (overnight)!
I am no good at keeping things in and dont want to mess things up til i have more proof but what do i do? i have 2 children to think about in this also he always turns it round so that he can be angry with me for finding things out!
i am an expert with teh pounding hearts, sleepless nights and contant feeling of pain, it never gets better! i need proof - that all!

I'm brand new today on this site -- I was told a few years ago when I called a private detective -- he said you don't need to spend your money on me -- follow your gut -- and yes eventually I found proof he was cheating -- oh yes, he denied it over and over again, until I threw the black and white printed copies of emails and letters at him and then he said -- gee I was just stupid but nothing physical -- yeah right. Honey, if you feel it inside, you know the truth. Hang in there.

I don't see you need any more proof. I wish i would of left mine a long time ago. Now he is unbearable. It will be tough but I would go toa lawyer and ask for some papers to be drawn up. Living like this will take a HEAVY toll on you...it has me and everyone I know who has put up with it.
