I just found this site and I need help.
My husband of 25 years is all of a sudden acting weird. I am going to list the clues and I want someone to tell me I am not imagining this. He is making me out to be the crazy b8tch and I know I am not. Please tell me I am on to something here.
Beginning of July my husband all of a sudden started doing the following:
1. started smoking after not smoking for almost 10 years
2. started buying more clothes and looking at western wear like wrangler jeans. Husband says the clothes are because of his occupation but appearance is more important now. He is a manager of a large multi billion dollar American company. nothing to do with western wear either.
3. found money stashed in his wallet.
4. demanded a pay as you go cell phone.
5. not accounting for his where abouts. When asked it is a simple "out".
6. few strange calls on his cell phone.
7. gets off work at 10:30 PM and rides his bike in the dark for 3 hours.
8. no sexual relations.
9. refuses to have sex
10. came home last night and his back smelt sweet like possibly cocoa butter?
11. losing weight (but claims he isn't eating and is smoking too, so I don't think its the bike riding).
12. short fused with me.
13. doesn't want to spend time with me.
14. says he is stressed and claustrophobic therefore needs to be away.
15. when I suggest there is another woman he explodes.
16. told him I am lonely but he doesn't seem to care, no sympathy or compassion.
17. quick to mention divorce whenever I suggest there are problems.
18. building a new dream house and he isn't interested in it anymore.
19. listening to music from a time in his life when he was very close to an old co-worker he was having an supposed emotional affair with 14 years ago.
I am heart broken and lost. I am 40 and told I look much younger. I am blonde and blue eyed and know I could find a wonderful man that would love me for who I am. I don't want to live in an empty marriage. I pray he is just getting his head together but these seem like signs to me.
Anyone else agree?
